Don’t get lost in the business of life! Small groups are a great way to discover the joy of sharing life together with others while you learn or lead. They are also a tremendous resource through which you can gain valuable skills that will help you navigate your way through life.

What Is Small Group Life?
Small Group Life is designed to help you recalibrate your life, build relationships and grow your spiritual life with God. Like a compass, Small Group Life offers both spiritual and practical tools to help guide individuals and families through the daily pressures of life. These casual studies or support groups are about friendships, encouragement, bible studies, prayer and serving others. They are a great place to connect, belong, grow, share and lead in the comfort of someone’s home.

Is Small Group Life For Both Married Couples and Singles?
The answer is absolutely, yes … sometimes! Most groups are open to both married couples and singles, but there are some gender-specific groups. Some groups are geared for single college students, others for young adults, parenting groups, men only, women only, etc.

Is Childcare Provided During Small Group Life?
Childcare depends upon the nature of the small group and the host home. We simply ask that once you are registered for a small group that you make any necessary arrangements with the host home before the start date.

When and Where Does Small Group Life Happen?
Most groups consist of 6 to 12 people and meet weekly from 7:00-8:30pm in homes around Kamloops.

How Often Do Groups Meet?
Maintaining consistency with Small Group Life is important. Therefore, most groups meet weekly September through June. Groups take a break during the summer allowing leaders and host homes to relax and re-energize for the next season of Small Group Life.

How Long Do Groups Last?
Our DVD curriculums range from as short as 3 weeks up to 12 weeks. New series of small group studies are introduced every quarter and starting times are staggered throughout the quarter.

What Can I Expect From Small Group Life?
Groups participate in a DVD study covering a wide variety of topics that include Biblical principles related to finances, parenting, or marriage. Others are geared to helping people work with issues like divorce, grief, the loss of a loved one, or addictions. Small Group Life meetings purposely adhere to a one and a half hour time constraint out of respect for the busy lives of our volunteer leaders and hosts, for the value we place on each study, and for first-time visitors.  Again, depending on the nature of the small group, you can expect time for socializing, watching a DVD, discussing Bible passages that relate to the given study, sharing life-applicable principles and praying together.
