KIDS LIFE

Children from age 3 to Grade 7 meet upstairs every Sunday morning for high-energy dramas, DVD clips, and practical age-appropriate, interactive Bible lessons designed to help them establish biblical foundations for their lives. Registration begins at 9:00am and doors open to Kids Life at 9:45am!

KIDCHECK sign-in and sign-out is utilized to ensure the safety and security of our children’s ministry.

• Voyagers

Wonder what it was like in Noah’s Ark?  In this class, kids ages 3-5 have a chance to experience the atmosphere of a modern-day “Ark” as they navigate through stories in the Bible.  In their journeys, they will discover the incredible love God has for them, build a solid foundation for their life, develop great character and Godly habits and have a lot of fun doing it.  Climb aboard, kids and let's get ready to take a voyage through God's Word!

• Adventurers

Looking for an adventure?  Kids fom Grades 1 - 4 go on a quest through the Word of God to find interesting Bible characters where they discover how the lives of these unforgettable adventurers can better help them understand their own journey through life.  Let’s get started!

• Explorers

Want to make a difference in the world?  Kids from Grades 5 - 7 learn how to create a biblical life plan and put action to it.  This fast-paced class is filled with energetic learning activities and group interaction that helps kids realize that they can’t live life sitting down!

Student Life

Student Life is a fun, friendly place to hang out.  But more than that, Student Life is an amazing place to develop your love for God, for your friends, and for life!

Every Friday night an emerging generation of youth from across our city between grades 7 - 12 get together at Bible Truth Church.  Through fantastic Outreach Events, interactive Junior High and Senior High small groups, young people ignite their passion for God and become better equipped to impact their world.   A team of dynamic leaders who share a passion for reaching their generation and who model a genuine love for God team up to lead these incredible nights, consistently sharing the reality of God’s presence and power through creative activities and life-challenging messages.

Young Adult Life

Picture a generation of young adults uniting, blending and mingling together as one, becoming a social and spiritual catalyst that, when charged, has the potential to turn their world upside-down for Christ.  Our Young Adults Ministry is just that, and its main focus is to provide connection opportunities that encourage, enrich, and empower young adults ages 19-35 to make both healthy and positive choices for life, for faith, and for peer ministry.

Pastoral Care

• Care Ministry / Prayer Ministry / Share Ministry

Pastoral Care comes in many forms; therefore, a variety of ministry options are necessary in order to meet the diversity of needs that we are made aware of.  Some people simply want pastoral or spiritual care and a listening ear.  Perhaps others are facing a life crisis and need strategic prayer.  Still others may be hospitalized or bed-ridden; providing a meal or offering assistance in times like this means a lot.

Consider how you can participate in the ministry of care to those who need it.  You can help brighten someone’s day!

Celebrate Marriage

DivorceCare

Find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce … deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life!  divorcecare is a friendly, caring group of people committed to walking alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences.  Don’t go through separation or divorce alone.  Each DVD Session is taught by some of the foremost Christian experts on divorce and recovery topics as seen from a biblical perspective.  To participate in this course you must be separated, going through a divorce or already divorced.

In as little as 7 seconds a first impression can turn into a lasting impression.  On average, most people form a lasting impression after approximately 10 minutes of observation or experience.

From the moment guests and visitors first step onto the property of Bible Truth Church, we want their experience to be both wonderful and memorable.  We want everyone to feel welcome before they ever take a seat in the Sanctuary.  We want people to know that they are important to us.  We want their first contact with our numerous Bible Truth Church volunteers to be rewarding and enjoyable.  We want anyone who chooses to worship with us to be comfortable and reassured in knowing that Bible Truth Church is a warm, safe environment in which to grow in Christ.  This is the purpose of our First Impressions.

Guest Services

Guest Services is all about meeting people, loving people, and serving people.  It’s about investing in those who are new to church.  It’s about answering questions guests and visitors may have about our church and community ministries.  It’s about encouraging others to be involved.  It’s about providing relevant information that will help people connect.  Primarily, Guest Services is about assisting others with a smile.

Homebound

Putting religion into practice involves taking care of the elderly, especially those who are shut-in and unable to attend church.  Homebound offers spiritual care, practical assistance, and special attention to an aging generation who may be widowed or alone.

Kava Cafe

Let our very own baristas serve you!  Come early to church; enjoy a hot cup of coffee or a cold smoothie in our café-style Foyer before service begins, and build some relationships at the same time.  Kava Café is open before and after our Sunday services, as well as church conferences, CONNECT Events, and special functions associated with any of our church ministries.

Nursery

During the morning service, our nursery is open and available for young moms who have children younger than three years of age.  Our nursery is equipped with change tables and toys suitable for children, as well as a private nursing room for moms with newborns.  Parents are required to supervise their own children while utilizing the nursery. Also, due to food allergies our nursery is a peanut-free zone.

Men's Breakfast

Men, mark the last Saturday of every month at 8:00am on your calendar for an early morning breakfast with the Pastor.  This is a great opportunity to personally connect with our Pastor and enjoy a delicious breakfast and coffee at the same time.  Invite your friends!  It’s a perfect time and place to build some lasting friendships.

Missions

Imagine what we can do together!  The Bible instructs us to go into all the world and share the Good News of love, hope, and peace that is found in Jesus Christ.  For you, that world may be your neighbour across the street, your boss or fellow employees at your workplace, your involvement in an overseas orphanage, or your investment into a mission’s project either personally or financially.  Bible Truth Church is passionate about local and global missions and we are committed to making a difference in our world!  Therefore, we endorse a variety of community and world mission organizations and encourage you to make the most of the opportunities you are given to make that difference in a person’s life.

Small Group Life

Don’t get lost in the business of life!  Small Group Life is designed to help you recalibrate your life, build relationships and grow your spiritual life with God.  Most groups consist of 6 to 12 people and are available during the week in neighbourhoods all over Kamloops for an hour and a half.  Like a compass, Small Group Life offers both spiritual and practical tools to help guide individuals and families through the daily pressures of life.  These groups are about friendships, encouragement, bible study, prayer and serving others.  Bible Truth Church is a big place and that's why we encourage you to make the time to attend Small Group because it gives you an opportunity to connect with others while you grow in your walk with God!

Next Steps

Being water baptized is a natural next step in the life of a new follower of Jesus. This exciting step in the spiritual journey is an outward testimony of the internal transformation that has taken place in the believer's life.  Through water baptism, we identify with Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection.

Women's Life

Welcome to Women's Life!  We are seeking to build strong women of God, in this century, who will be fearless whether it be in their personal lives, marriages or careers. Women who want to network with other women to build lasting relationships while reaching out into our community with kindness. This ministry welcomes ladies of all ages!

Women's Life meets the second Tuesday of every month at 1099 Fraser Street beginning at 7:00pm!

Young Mom's Night Out

Mom's need opportunities to unwind in an atmosphere where there are no interruptions or expectations from their kids, where they can connect and build relationships with other young mom's, and where they can encourage one another mom-to-mom.

This once-a-month night out takes place in a restaurant of choice somewhere in the city.  It’s a great way to enjoy a HOT meal together and to share valuable parenting tips and “strategies” with close or emerging friends.
